Where was CCA and MLB before Friends?

Did they do any comedy before the show?

CCA spent quite awhile on Family Ties as Michael J. Fox's girlfriend.

CCA's big break was in Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing in the Dark" video after being on "As The World Turns" (no joke) throughout 1984. She later played the telekinetic Gloria on the short-lived "Misfits of Science" that lasted only one season then came back to play Michael J Fox's girlfriend on the last two seasons of "Family Ties".

As for MLB, he started out on TV101 and got his pic published in an issue of Nintendo Power before "Friends" made him popular as well as appearing in an ad for Coca-Cola in 1990 and played Vinnie on "Married...With Children" before going to the short-lived spinoff, "Top of the Heap".

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I remember seeing MLB on a naughty HBO series. It might have been Red Shoe Diaries, I'm not sure. Anyhow, Matt played a courier or delivery boy. He was delivering mail or some package or something to an office building, got into an elevator with some young woman and . . . well . . . leave the rest to your wild imagination! It was more than just a little racy. I don't know if MLB did many sex/nude scenes in his struggles to make it to the big time, but he certainly did at least one!
