Fuck the Simpsons and fuck Fox in it's cold, black, heart!

I am sick of hearing how great the simpsons are and how popular it is. It totally fucking sucks. After sunday's 300th episode I cannot imagine it going on for another TWO years. I am still curious as to what fox is going to replace it with. Why did they fucking kill Family Guy?! Can't they fucking realise that any show that goes against friends is doomed?! Family Guy was the heir apparent to the Simpsons, but was cut down in it's prime. I did not intially like Family Guy because it was marketed as a simpsons rip off. Then it was cancelled and then brought back and cancelled again. I hardly knew when to watch the damn show and then BAM, it was gone. Too bad TNN did not pick it up. Was Family Guy Pitched to any other studios/stations after it's demise? F'ing TNN spent 300 million dollars on the rights to Star Trek. If anyone, they would have been the best bet. Now 3 south is gone, what is Seth working on now?

I tuned in...guest starring Tony Hawk and Blink 182? I think that says it all; it seems to be all the show is about these days, getting teen idol flavors of the week to guest star, whereas actual jokes and story are second priority to the show these days.

Face it, 99.9% of what's on TV is shit, imitations of shit, and spinoffs of shit. The sparks of light are soon overwhelmed by the deluge and are seen no more. Be glad for when you catch them and for DVDs that let you catch the ones you missed. And think of the electricity (and brain cells) you save as the TV spends more and more time OFF.

It was funny hearing the Married With Children cast talk about the early days of Fox. These days, Fox is almost exactly like any other broadcast network. (I say almost because Fox still has one show I consider to be good, no other broadcast network does. Naturally, since that means that I'm not part of the Friends crowd, that one show I like must be hunted down and killed.)

i watched (read ..suffered through) the 300th Simpsons episode and caught quite a few FG style jokes in there i think it's the Howard Stern syndrome the Simpsons felt threatened by the new show on the block and had it cancelled cause the Simpsons were the 1st cartoon to be "edgy" Same way Stern had infinity cancel Opie & Anthony (those not in the NY area wont get this reference) Beavis & Butthead & Ren & Stimpy were next followed by South Park then FG took the cake and took it a step further than all of them.

Yeah, I like that one too. :) I still watch their cartoon lineup on sundays too, call me crazy. But it was a hell of a lot better with family guy.
