OT: TV shows I like

Just for the heck of it, here are the things I watch.

Broadcast TV:

- Family Guy (used to) - The Simpsons (still watch this. Not as good as it used to be, but still better than 99% of anything else on) - King of the Hill (I love this show, even though most in here hate it. It's almost a family show.) - Seinfeld (The reruns. But I've seen them all so many times by now that I can say the words along with it, so I've stopped watching it as much as I use to) - X-Files (series finale is Sunday and I guess it's about time) - Enterprise (but usually forget about it, so I download the episodes from a.b.star-trek. Some of the episodes are okay, one or two were good, but most are pretty lame) - The P.J.'s (I used to love this show. Canceled I believe. I don't know why most didn't like it. Very clever writing.)

Cable TV stations:

- Tech TV (I don't faithfully watch any particular show all the time. I turn it on when nothing else is on.) - The Science Channel (Again, I like to flip it on and watch whatever they are showing at the time) - VH1 Classic (since I'm 36, this younger music doesn't do much for me) - Fox News Channel (Faithfully watch The O'Reilly Factor every weeknight. Watch other things if they seem interesting when flipping by) - 70s Music Choice (as background music when I'm on the computer) - Nick At Night (occasionally watch Cheers reruns, although I've seen them all a billion times too)

And that's pretty much it. Nothing else interests me. I don't care for all those drama/cop/medical/law/etc shows. Don't care for Friends and the like.

Oh, and I watch the Cartoon Channel when they show the old Warner Brothers or Tex Avery cartoons.

I dig Grouded for Life. Kevin Corrigan is great. I've loved his since Slums of Beverly Hills.

Bernie Mac makes me laugh every week.

24 is excellent.

Futurama (when FOX wants to show it) is good.

One of the funniest things FOX ever did was the season 2 finale when they're growing pot on the roof. Then, as it burns, Thurgood sees "Donkey-Jaws" and he speaks to him. Don't know why this made me laugh, it was just so stupid that God would be called Donkey-Jaws.

Game Show Network - Match Game, Classic Hollywood Squares (Paul Lynde rules!), Family Feud, Lety's Make a Deal (can't get enough of the Chevy Vega!)

For some reason Futurama never hooked me. I watched a few shows, but it just never held my interest. Seems more like a Saturday morning cartoon.

I used to like all of those shows. And yeah, those cheesy 70s cars are funny =) I just never seem to remember to watch that channel. I'll try and remember and add it to my "favs".

no one here watches/watched married with children? ive seen every episode at least 3 times and they still make me laugh, one of the best ones, it the one where Al hires a new employe for the shoe store, and he gets the polk high kid and he goes out for a "shoe" pass in the store and stiff arms a old lady on the way out the door, it is awsome!!@

anyways i watch same shows as everyone else simpsons fg and some of the drama/action shows when im have nothing better to do, my top 3 list is

I still think married with children is the funniest however ive seen them all soo many times, same with the simpsons....

Yeah, ad nauseum in my youth. It was syndicated on our local fox station (or NBC or something, I forgot which) and back before we had cable, we watched it every night. I loved it, but grew tired of it quickly =T

ROFLMAO and PJ's has to be one of Jesse Jacksons least favorite shows, it was so tongue ibn cheek humor. My favorite was the go kart when Thurgood is telling Juicy and the other kid that (he reaches up and grabs chain from the fence) This chains represent the chains that have held our people in bondage for the last 400 years, these chains will also keep those very same people from stealin our go kart. very funny stuff. The animation for The PJs was amazing. How the hell did they do that with clay? Certainly stomps on anything Gumby ever did.

The characters were actually formed from pieces of a styrofoam-like material, but with more malleability. I guess this made them more durable.
