Lazy writers

Is it a prerequisite for a writer on FOX's Sunday lineup to have an obsession over trashing religion (Christianity only--Islam and other faiths need not worry)? Lately it seems every show (except King Of The Hill) has a "need" to mock religion and its followers. Are these writers so arrogant and self-delusional that they think their constant jabs are going to somehow dismantle over 2000 years of human civilization and its core beliefs?? They seem hellbent on alienating a large part of the audience with their self-righteous "satires". It's nothing but lazy writing. Even Bill Maher has toned down his anti-religion rhetoric on hs show.

I think a priest may have given Seth MacFarlane a "bad touch".
