Possibly the worst DVD defect yet

Check this out... I just got my DVD set from Amazon, and disc 3 was missing!! The case, of course was there, but empty of the DVD..

Sucks so bad.... I just sent an email to their customer service.

thats weird, when i got my osbournes DVD set..I got an extra copy of disk two in mine

This shouldn't happen, I would imagine the manufacturing would be automated right up to the packaging, and a sensor is all that is needed to detect the presence of the disc.

Here's the follow-up to my original message. Going through the Amazon web site, you can list the "defect", print out a pre-paid mailing label, send the defective product back and wait for the replacement.

I'm sure all would have gone well, but I was a little afraid of the "what-if" of not getting my replacement, etc. So, I emailed customer service again, and asked if there was any way I could get the replacement disc only, or similar solution. They are now going to send me the whole set first, and I need to send back the return within 30 days.... so, Amazon did good.

I really didn't want to send back the full set and have nothing in hand.
