They removed the infamous Peter/Stewie feeding scene from "I Am Peter, Hear Me Roar." It just went from Peter and Lois addoring the sleeping Stewie to the scene after that.
What amuses me is that they still kepted everything else in the episode intact... I just don't get why they edited this out?

I saw it too and the scene was there....do you live in the bible belt? Might be different affiliates having varying standards

TBS and CN are satellite services. No affiliate issues as there's no 'local station'. Besides, they're both based in Atlanta, so there wouldn't be any Bible Belt issues.

My point being that if there were any issues, they would be national. TBS and CN are based in Atlanta, so if they had any 'Bible Belt'-type issues, they wouldn't have picked up this show in the first place. Some of the Time Warner networks (of which TBS and CN are now) have separate East and West feeds, but they don't have a separate feed or editing for us here in the stix. That's what 'Turner South' is for ;-) And if you've never seen Turner South, consider yourself lucky.

I'm guessing it's not for censorship reasons, but so they can stuff more commercials in. Almost syndicated shows are trimmed by a couple minutes. I'm guessing the feeding scene got snipped because it's convinient and doesn't detract from the overall plot. It's just one long gag (no pun intended).
Happens all the time.
TV Land makes a big deal about showing the epilogue to all the Andy Griffith's, but what they don't tell you is that they trim stuff out of the episode to squeeze it in.

TV Land likes the epilogues usually cut for syndication. They show them for All in the Family and Barney Miller, then cut out funnier and more important parts of the episode. They also show the long versions of the theme songs, which is nice but it also means more of the episode has to be cut.
