Hey, guys. Need to request a big favor. I'm creating an ultimate FG soundtrack & I only need a few more to replace some of my lower quality copies.

If you have a good quality, full .wav or .mp3 of the following, PLEASE contact me. I'd be very much indebted to your generosity:

Can you rip an mp3 file from a DVD? If you can tell me how I can give those songs to you.

You can use a program like SmartRipper to rip the audio track to a WAV, then use a sound editor to snip the WAV so it leaves just the song, and then you could convert the WAV to mp3.

I could rip MP3s from "Brian Wallows..." and "The King..." -- if only I remember to do that later. :-)

You da man. Anybody have "Pure Inebriation" or "You Make Me Feel Song" hanging around? My copies have loud distortion as though someone just cranked their TV volume & recorded it on their computer microphone.

Not too helpful for a CD. Thanks for everyone's hard work!

If (generically) you can't find it on your news server, try the free but read-only news server biggulp.readfreenews.net. It's not always accessible but I was just able to see my posts there.

I also note that I didn't post them exactly the way I wanted, but you should be able to get the three .MP3 files okay - assuming your newsreader handles multi-part binaries.
