I was just watching a seson one episode and he clearly says Effin Cry versus one of the new season 3 episodes and they definately changed it to Laugh n Cry.
Is this old news?? :-)

Now correct me if I am wrong, but I remember watching some of the older episodes w/ the colsed captioning on and is said effin' cry. I will try to watch it again to see, but that's what I remember.

True the captions are wrong at times, but I've also noticed that sometimes the jokes in the captions are better then the ones in the show and a bit more edgy...try watching season 1 eps w/ the captioning on.

"Effin' cry" isn't all that funny imo in the context of the other lyrics, and it doesn't sound like something Stewie would say, he being of superior wit and all. Anyway, how much more bold do you want than one character shushing another while they're watching a snuff film? I think that the idea that they changed it to "laugh and cry" to tone things down is silly! Even people who never curse say "effin'" (along with heck, darn, etc.)
