The joke I though was this thread was about was the one over the credits of the second episode (I thought it was a new one, sadle it was not). When it originally aired there was a scene with Stewie hitchiking down a street with cars passing by him as the Incredible Hulk sad walking away music played.

Man, this show has had so many reference to the Incredible Hulk. It cracks me up every time.

I was way off on both of those guesses, though.

But now I think I have it. I think it's the opening theme song from "Dallas." The problem recognizing it may come from the fact that the Dallas song used horns, not piano. (At least the version that's in my head used horns.) I found a site that has a collection of nearly *all* the Dallas theme songs (apparently they changed over the years):

http://www.dallas.ndirect.co.uk/media/sounds/ The '93 orchestral theme sounds closest to what Peter plays in my opinion. He only plays a brief section of it anyway. Sadly you'll need (ugh) RealPlayer to play those themes.

There's a MIDI version at: http://www.midiuniverse.co.uk/Midis/TV/Dallas.mid I think it's easier to pick up the part Peter is playing out of the MIDI because it's so much (phonically?) simpler. Someone could even use a MIDI editor to change it to piano if they were unsure.

If anyone is now wondering what the other themes I mentioned sounded like, I found some versions online. Good 'ol Google.
