Thought that was where I recognized that from. Hard to tell though...my stupid broadcaster did that typical broadcast thing; scrunched the whole scene into a six inch slice up the right hand side of the screen and broadcast "what's coming up next" on the rest and timed the whole thing to last through the credits perfectly. >:/

Not only was it the same song, note-for-note, they actually used the same recording that AITF used in its early seasons.

Carroll O'Connor actually did not compose the song - it was composed by Roger Kellaway. O'Connor later wrote lyrics for it (which were never used on air), and somehow managed to get a co-credit for "Closing Theme" after the first season.

LOVED the All In The Family ending!
