I just hope that the monkey isn't discouraged from tormenting Chris now that he's stood up to him. That's one of my favorite running gags.
Overall, the episode was great, However, the whole "novel" thing between Brian and Stewie was a little overplayed. That was 90 seconds of unfunny filler, personally speaking. It's of the same calibur as the rank scene in the Simpson's Cape Fear episode. Ugh!

It was slightly overplayed, but the punchline "no you deserve a break" was still very funny imo, although predictable.
