It was the episode where they filmed the Radioactive Man movie in Springfield. They were still trying to figure out who'd play Radioactive Man (Rainier Wolfcastle), and Comic Book Guy took it to the Internet, typing in the above message ("Need to know star 'Radioactive Man' pic").

i've seen simpsons posts that went on forever about whether or not there were corncobs on the drapes in the kitchen. then of course there's the famous "where is springfield" argument...search for these topics and it'll blow your mind. check out snpp.com for serious alt.nerd.obsessive material...incidently, the simpsons writers have subtly attacted this mindframe in recent episodes using, of course, the comic book guy to mirror the stereotype. freakin' sweet!
