Hi

Anyone out there play the movies downloaded from alt.binaries.multimedia on a Mac? I tried Quiktime 5, and it doesn't seem to recognize the downloaded file. Help!!!

First you're going to have to download all of the pieces (FamilyGuyS03Ep4.r00 through FamilyGuyS03Ep4.r13, plus the FamilyGuyS03Ep4.rar file), and them combine them using a program that can decode RAR files. I would suggest MacRAR, which can be found here:

http://macrar.free.fr/

After combining, you'll end up with a 216.5 MB mpg file that can be played in QuickTime without any problem.
