Im a big ole hypocrite

Just saw the last 3 episodes (was away, had to tape them). A few weeks back someone posted a complaint about the stereotypes of the british from that episode about the bar being bought by british. I told him to relax basically. But then they go and have an episode stereotyping New Yorkers. Hey what the hell man??!! That was b.s.

Listen, you can stereotype gays, blacks and the british but lay off us NYers. Ill come over dere and smack ya around Mr McFarlane if ya do dat again, ya prick ya.

No but seriously, it did bother me a little, but I had to keep it in perspective.

Hey, I've lived my entire life in *Tennessee*. You Yankees have nothing to complain about when it comes to negative stereotypes in popular entertainment.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go out behind the outhouse and beat the pigs, cause they've been makin' a mighty ruckus since the dogs got loose from bein' chained to the porch. ;)

Well, remember Family Guy itself is a parody of sitcom and TV stereotypes, so throwing typical sitcom stereotypes in the show is a joke in itself. Anyway, just enjoy the characters, gags, and jokes. The down-south episode is mostly Chris-centric, which is nice since Chris is an underused but really funny character.
