The vomit scene

I was eating when they started doing that even though it was gross it was also funny. I had to put my food up for a little while.

I never laughed so much! I started smiling and finished on my knees, as the scene looked like it would never end.

This was one of the few "extended Family Guy scenes" that didn't make me laugh, or even smile for a fraction of a second. Maybe 'cuz never-ending-vomit-scenes have been overdone on other shows before.

FG took it to a whole new level. I really lost it when Chris said he was feeling better, better, then spewed all over again.

We've all been there. You think it's passed, then it hits you again, praying that this "barf" will finally be the last one ...

I just about pissed myself at the vomit scene in Team America (the Matt Stone/Trey Parker puppet movie from last year). It did nothing for me on FG.

Same here...there's nothing funnier that a chundering puppet!!! Like the black puppet on Crank Yankers, that KILLS!!! But I thought the puke scene in FG was so funny I laffed so hard I almost had an anurism.

Generally I find a puke scene unnecessary and an indication that the writers have run out of material. But to be honest I laughed my ass off when FG launched into it. Damn, that was funny. And about the time I could finally catch my breath, Lois had to ask 'Who wants chowder?"

Man, I was friggin' dying.

Agree here. I thought to myself "I shouldn't be laughing at this" but I swear, my sides hurt so much from laughing and I literally DID have tears running down my face. What made it even more hilarious was my 8 year old son came into the room at the precise moment of the puking and I've never heard him laugh so hard ever (don't worry, I sent him to bed after the puke scene ! Eight year old kids should NOT be watching FG).

We watch the show because we like the show. We didn't think the vomit scene was funny, but the vomit scene is not the show, it's only one small part of one episode. There are many scenes per episode, and many episodes per season. We may like many of the scenes in every episode, we may even like all the scenes in some episodes, but just because we disliked ONE scene in ONE episode doesn't mean we disliked ALL scenes in ALL episodes. Do you understand? Does that answer your question?
