I have all other 49 episodes on 17 VCDs and I'll trade any episode in high quality, full screen MPEG4 straight from one of my VCDs in trade for this episode - even for a crappy ass .rm.

I could get in trouble.....and it's not really my place to do this. As soon as it gets out, people will start making VCDs and selling it on Ebay.....I dont wanna be responsible for that.
If it turns out it's going to air in another country, or get released on a DVD in the UK.....then I wouldn't mind letting it go for a sneak peak, since it'll be on the internet for distribution soon anyway.

Oh and that was the other question, why does the UK get a DVD release and america doesnt?, im a resident of the UK and i dont know the answer. Its barely ever on the TV over here. And lifting from what you said am i right to assume subsequent seasons will be released over here too?
Syndication is huge in the U.S.; does it even exist in the UK? That's the market for programming that is sold to stations, such as repeats of Friends five times a week, twice a day. A lot of TV is produced with the understanding that they will not make money in the prime-time run, but make it up in syndication. Anyway, releasing DVDs and videos decreases the value of syndicated programs. So, my guess is that there is little or no syndication in the UK.
Because the TV people in North America are of the belief, valid or not, that a DVD/Tape release will reduce syndication resale value. Consequently, we generally have to wait MUCH longer for DVD/Tape releases of US TV shows than Europeans do, from my observations an average of about 4 years after the season in question ends. Europe tends to get the DVD's within a year of the season ending there. All the more reason to have a multiregion DVD player.
