Are you kidding? You ARE kidding right? If the emmy had to go to a Simpson's episode, they seriously could've chosen one much better than that!

Considering the competition, they could have chosen an episode at random.

And may have.

I'm sorry, but Chinpokomon (that was up for it I believe) kicked that episode's ass by all means. And Family Guy, even tho Road to Rhode Island wasn't the one I'd pick, it was STILL leaps and bounds better.

Damn, slim pickins this year I guess.

I'll agree with you on that, the concept was cute, but definitely didn't pan out like it should. The metaphors really got annoying fast. Well it's not like the voters are avid Simpsons watchers. Maybe they've seen 10 or so ep's in total. It's not likely that they would have any idea how much the show has changed overall over the last 6 seasons the way most of us in here do.

That show wasn't good! In fact it was made to depict the degradation of the shows quality. They made "behind the laughter" because they knew the show was getting crappier and crappier, and it got the award... sheesh.

Unfortunately, I feel the same way. I'd watch older Simpsons episodes and could cry for what its become. I guess that's why I like Family Guy so much now; it seems to have the same feeling older Simpsons' had.
