Right, the brilliant Simpsons writers, as opposed to the pathetic Family Guy writers. One show is going on it's 14th season whereas another lasted only 49 episodes. There's a reason for this: "The Simpsons" is hilarious, "Family Guy" is terrible.

I can pretty much say an amen to this, although last night's episode was the first I laughed that loudly at in a long time. The Peter appearance was the biggest laugh however. I'd rather have 49 episodes of total hilarity than 200+ of sparse humor spread out among a ton of celebrity-cameo crap.

Just like when the Simpsons arrived everyone realized how much the Flintstones sucked in comparison; ever since the Family Guy debued I've been having trouble sitting through The Simpsons because I now know how truly funny an animated sitcom can be.

BTW if it wasn't for Peter I wouldn't have cracked a smile for that whole Treehouse of Terror, it wasn't gory, funny, scary, or even interesting. I had more fun watching Home Movies and the Brak Show later that night.
