Who is Richard Jenny, and ...

I live in Italy and I admit I cannot always grasp some Family Guy's references.

For example, there's that wonderful scene where Peter is dreaming with Lois and says "Oh.. Jenny." and lois gets upset. "RICHARD Jenny. Your talk show has brought pleasure to millions.... (!!!)" ... "And what a sweet ass!"

Who is he?

And who is Richard Simmons?

And that black guy (I couldn't grasp the name) who does the talk show in which Stewie takes part? (the man who steals the hypno glasses from stewie).

Richard Jenni is a stand-up comic who had some TV series work. Richard Simmons is an effeminate exercise guru who appeals to overweight housewives and is pretty much the opposite of macho. The black man is Bill Cosby, another former stand-up comic who had a number one series in the 80's which was probably the first to portray blacks as successful, professionals with high regards for family values. He also had an animated series called 'Fat Albert' which was referenced in "I am Peter, Hear Me Roar." He was also a spokesman for Coke, Jell-O Pudding, and Kodak film.
