The prophecy comes true! (well, half of it at least)

For those who scoffed my post ("A chance for Family Guy to return early"), I found this little tidit today:

�Fox is pulling FREAKYLINKS. It is not officially canceled but it will disappear from the schedule after the 11/3 episode. Fox will replace the program with something called MILLION DOLLAR MYSTERIES in which you'll be invited to call in with tips on missing valuable items, i.e. Bond's stolen car from GOLDFINGER. At least 6 episodes of MYSTERIES are being produced.�

Maybe after Fox bombs with this Million Dollar Mysteries crap, we can giev FG a go-round...

There will always be cancelled shows. It would pretty shocking if there werent. The question is how the network fills the schedule. I hope reruns of FG are one thing they go with, whether its in the Freaky Links spot or something else. They never finished repeating all the episodes. New ones just cant be finished on time from what I here.

I hate FOX. They pimp the shit out of all their shitty shows and cancel the good ones. I really like Freaky Links, but I never see it advertised. Dark Angel just sucks out loud, but that chick's face is everywhere. Whose ass do you gotta kiss to get on the good side of FOX?

OMG it was obsessively advertised last summer. Commercials for it are all over my FG tapes!

really? i dont remember seeing it at all really. but consider its advertising as it is now. its not doing that well, but they are also not advertising it enough. i think for all their shows like that, they need to air after the simpsons to build an audience. after that they can move it to whatever night. i bet there would be a lot less cancelled shows on fox.

No one scoffed at your tidbits or any other bits. There simple are no new episodes in the can (save one) to broadcast. You'll have to wait until next summer.
