with a most unusual time to begin a series I have to wonder what the upcoming schedule for FG may be
will they show 6 or 7 epsiodes (3 already) and then give it a rest (showing the reruns) so they can start a new "season" in the fall? Fox usually begins its seasons later than the other networks because of the baseball playoffs so I would assume FG begins again in November. Maybe they will show about 13 episodes (10 more)through the end of July or so?
anyone heard how it will work?
I think the current plan is to show 10 episodes over the summer, and 22 in the fall (the remaining 3 of the 35 episode order are the 3-ep direct-to-dvd story)

It's not all that unusual. Lots of networks have fresh shows for the summer. Not nearly as many, obviously, but if there were nothing new on TV, then there would be nothing but reruns until the Fall... and that would be very silly.
The plan is basically to get through the next 10 episodes of Season 4, and... I have no idea when Season 5 will start. I've heard rumors about late Fall 2005 or Winter 2006, sort of like how Fox started lots of shows' news seasons last November.
And it will work like it always has -- one episode after another! :)
