hmm. I got the newer version of nero, maybe I'll give it a shot. From what I recall it's faster than ezCD for converting the mpg's to dat + I'd like to have the ability to encode SVCD. Not being able to fastforward is a real pain ;)

Are you sure that isn't your player? My GE from Wal-Mart fast forwards through VCDs without a problem. But, get Nero anyway, as SVCDs look a LOT better if the source is good.

no... My player will ff through vcd... I just cant convert SVCD to dat with ezCD, so I only get the raw .mpg, and it won't ff through that...
