or at least a really good start I went to Best Buy tonight to buy the DVD's and they were all sold out tried 2 other stores and same thing anyone else encounter the same thing (hopefully)
maybe like i hoped on this board months ago these sales will wake someone up and bring back our Stewie and FG
YES happened to me too...went to Best Buy and checked out the DVD TV shows section, there was a large gap on the shelf between Dawson's Creek and Futurama, so I asked the sales drone if they'd had Family Guy DVDs in and he said they had sold them all; "they've been flying off the shelf all day". Holy crap now that is impressive. TONS of Futurama still there, interestingly enough...! But I hope they get some more in soon though, don't want to pay Suncoast prices. Or there's Circuit City, are they any good for DVDs?

I've never seen BB have that many of any title...let alone in a display. Not even huge releases like Star Wars.
I'm sure it varies from store to store; my local BB always has a huge display for whatever the big movie of the week is...hundreds of copies of Harry Potter were there yesterday, for example, as well as Drumline for some bizarre reason (didn't look as if one single copy had sold). Anyway I picked up the FG dvd at Suncoast...its $39.99 there if anyone's interested, but you do have to put up with the "Would you like to join our discount program" two minute canned speech...
between the display and what he said was in the stock room not all 150-200 were packed out at the same time you always leave some overflow for the backroom but in this case it all sold out in a few hours

I went yesterday at around noon, which I figured I would have no trouble finding a copy. the place I went to was suppose to have it super cheap, and they had none left in 2 hours, the guy said there were people waiting outside when it opened. they sold 100 in less then 2 hours. I've been to 3 wal-marts, and 3 other places since then, and none have it. I only found one place, and its $10 more there, I'll wait for a new shipment. Scott

Sure is cheaper compared to buy.com which sells for $39 and locally it sells for $35. I was hoping to watch it tonight also.. hot-dang!!!!
