OT -- King of the Hill

Is this show getting on anybody elses nerves now, or is it just me? The eps involving Peggy are just miserable.

I think its always been bad. Its very rarely funny.

King of the hill is very hit and miss, some weeks its great, others its just flat. Definitely an acquired taste though, the humor in it is much more gentle and low-key than Family guy and Simpsons, etc.

I rarely watch the show (new ones or syndication) but I find a couple of older episodes involving Bobby Hill has some pretty funny parts in them. I guess I like Bobby the best (every KotH should be Bobbycentric). I think it's one of the only shows where I DIDN'T like the male head of household the best : : Family Guy: Peter, The Simpsons: Homer, Married... With Children: Al Bundy, etc... Although, with Family Guy, Stewie is a very close second.

what always worried me when i watched KOTH was i got the impression that it wasn't meant to be funny at all and there are americans who really are like that! makes you want to bang the characters heads together with the drivel they spout.
