Ok, the people viewing this post & NG are obviously FAMILY GUYS fans, but what do the general American public make of it?
i mean, is it hated? Do viewers send Fox letters of complaint?
What are the ratings like?
Do your workmates hate/love it or say, "what's Family Guy"?
All of my friends have always loved it and watched form the beginning.... but not like its ever on asnymore or anything... i am soooo excited about the 11th... ill tell you though, i am going to actually tape and keep these eppys this time, i went through withdrawl for too long

Actually, I think a lot of Americans ignore it. Last I heard it was cancelled and they are just playing the completed episodes, with no plans for future ones.
Of course, I could be wrong.

The ratings last week were very good considering Fox barely advertised it....if it stays consistant or goes up, it might get renewed for 4th season. If you're a fan, write Fox to make sure they know how you feel.
Most Americans don't know about it. Horrible marketing and PR for the series by FOX, and it routinely gets dumped into the worst timeslot when it does air. It's back from a year hiatus and "new" episodes are airing. (They were made long ago, but are airing for the first time now.) The first of a two-part episode aired last Wednesday, and the second part will air tomorrow. In the fall, it moves to Thursdays opposite Survivor and Friends. Real nice, eh? Is your country getting more episodes than the U.S.? I doubt it.

Again, only some of the new episodes airing were done last year....."Emission Impossible thru Road To Europe" are all new, currently still in production episodes.
Here in the UK i don't think we are.
They showed 10 episodes (every weekday evening at 6:30pm for two weeks) a few weeks ago, hopefully it will return later this year in a later timeslot, fingers crossed.
