Does anyone understand it is a TV show??? They come and they go? Life will go on. The only reason FG is on now after it was cancelled by FOX last year, is because it won an Emmy. (that's weird eh)
But there has been no word on the cancellation of FG.

There's been no press release...but I don't think we can expect that from the network that won't even advertise the show. In fact, a press release of cancelation would probably make people go "oh , I love that show! I didn't know it was even still on"
Anyway.....the show is not getting a 4th season, therefore it is cancelled. If you don't believe me.....well then......just wait till the show is gone forever and I'll give you a big fat "I told you so"
But what will you give after that?
Last night I was watching TechTV and they were promo'ing an upcoming spot on TechLive about the uproar over the potential cancellation of Futurama. During their banter, the hosts basically came to agreement that they weren't so much concerned about Futurama as they were about Family Guy and that its cancellation would be the greater injustice.
IMO, Family Guy is the better show, but Futurama is the greater injustice. At least with FG they can point to ratings, but with Futurama, thanks to football it hasn't even been on enough in 1st-run to get an accurate sampling.
If I could have 3 wishes from a genie in a beer bottle, aside from wishing everyone here had new hats, I'd want Futurama and FG back to back Wednesday at 9pm.

Many TV shows get cancelled before they can have a proper finale...as it stands, Road to Europe was the LAST FG Episode produced (Viewer Mail #1 being the last one to air)
Heh, the perfect way for Fox to have killed Family Guy would have been to move Seinfeld's re-runs to the 7:30 spot and play "When you wish.." after that. Fox would have had so many complaints they couldn't help but cancel our favorite show(next to Zim). That, my friend, would have been a proper finale.
