Well Family Guy is gone - for now anyways, and as much as I lament the fact, I feel we must move on. Therefore, I propose we seek out and find good new animation that does or has exists. I, for one, am obsessed with Invader Zim and The Oblongs.... Anyone have any other obscure but good cartoons??

Adult Swim has some quality programming and some writers that know their audience and their material. If Cartoon Network was smart they'd be the ones to pick up Family Guy. It would fit well into their Adult Swim lineup.

Nick still have 12 or more Zim episodes in the can and is planning to air them.The Oblongs are cancelled, but Cartoon Network has picked them up and will air all 12 eps during Adult Swim.

Ah, Family Guy was very good (I loved the TV/Movie references the best). The Simpsons are a long-running favorite of mine, though I've missed most of this past season (no TV at the moment).
I also like The Critic (still alive, sort of, on Shockwave.com), Freakazoid! (I'd love to see this show back), Space Ghost, The Brak Show, and SeaLab 2021. Also, Duck Tales was cool too in the day, but not in the same genre as these others.

Sorry to hear so many people dislike _The PJ's_ in this newsgroup. I find it hard to believe that among this fan base-- so well-organized against nearsighted television executives and critics who appear to have had serious humor-ectomies-- there are people would not find _The P.J.'s_ funny too. Such a clever show. The episode where Juicy (the fat kid) discovers his abilities as a gourmet chef was priceless.
I miss UPN's _Gary & Mike_ too, which had many many laugh-out-loud momemts, and brilliant plots. How many eps were there? Eight or nine? They promoted that about as well as Fox promoted _Family Guy_...

I didn't catch many episodes of the PJs. It just was never a staple show for me like the simpsons once was or Family Guy turned in to. When i did watch it I caught some really funny one off jokes. Some of which I still repeat (Anyone else wnat a big ass cup of coffee?)
Another great show. As was Futurama which was sadly cancelled. Some day, in the future of the internet, companies will be able to deliver on demand shows of yesteryear and make their money though advertising. Then we can get all these gems again.
