SAVE FAMILY GUY!!

I read that Fox is pulling Family Guy for May sweeps and replacing it with repeat Malcolm in the Middles!!! This is a horrible sign, not to mention a horrible way to treat a show that has so much potential and is finally picking up steam. Instead of showing the full 22 episode season like they promised, only 4 MORE EPISODES OF FAMILY GUY WILL AIR unless it's fans take action. We can't wait until it's too late like Freaks and Geeks. Just email Sandy Grushow, chairman of Fox, at [email]... I know they read their emails because I always get responses, so it's not a wasted after... Commence email bombardment, or risk losing the funniest show on TV by far!!!

Malcolm-ITM just pisses me off. First off, I don't think it's funny at all. Second, I've never seen a network push a show as hard as Fox is doing this one. They take their best programs and move them around for this one. Haven't Futurama and 70's Show gotten booted around like twice so far just so they could put MITM in primo time slots? And didn't they show it twice in the same week for a couple weeks back in the beginning? For a while there it seemed like every show I wanted to watch on Fox was either bordered by or moved because of MITM. The only good thing about it now is that it gives me time to make dinner between Simpsons and X-Files. Even if it got funny I'd still refuse to watch it just out of spite!

...and don't even get me started about finally starting to remember 70's Show being on Tuesday nights and having them move it to Mondays. Grrr....

Yeah, Fox has pushed lame shows before. such as "Herman's Head", and one of the married with children spin-off's. plus dont you think they are promoting "Titus" A little bit more?

Yeah, It was cool at first, but that Malcom kid...is just starting to get on my nerves...he complains and bitches too much.

But he's the main character on the show that's going to be around when "Family Guy" is nothing but a yearly Cartoon Network marathon, so why don't you relax and learn to enjoy it?

And yet amidst all the garbage that passes for prime time entertainment, a truly enjoyable show will always stand out. While the garbage will be yanked and recycled in a syndication package to be aired on the Cartoon Channel starting in 2001.

While this does piss me off, it's not any big surprise. When have you ever known FOX to leave well enough alone?! I thought Malcolm In the Middle, while not the worst I've ever seen, was not particularly funny; and they're certainly not doing anything to make me like it by trying to cram it down my throat. But, even if Family Guy is pre-empted during the month of May, they'll most likely bring it back in June. (I say "most likely" because no lame move by FOX surprises me anymore, I've been burned too many times; and it all seemed to start when they threw out Married...With Children without so much as telling the producers so they could film a finale.)

Also, Fox will probably put the PJs with Family Guy, as they've promised full seasons for both. There might be an added benefit to showing the new episodes in the summer--i.e. people have something new to watch instead of reruns. AND, people that ordinarily would have watched the shows that are in reruns during the summer might try Family Guy and like it, thus giving the show a larger fan base for when it would return in the fall (that is, IF FOX [pulls their heads out of their asses and] renews it.)

I think MITM is a good show....not better than family guy...but itz kinda a family show. FG is by FAR the best show on FOX but if u guys like it u cant complain about all the other shows...just don't watch them
