They've done everything possible to kill it. From the no advertising at all (I think there is more advertising on CH the canadian channel airing it here), to the suicidal time slot...

Likely the same jerk who seems to love MITM. Is it just me or do all the promos for shows on Fox seem to end with "followed by a special episode of Malcolm in the Middle"?

They're solid ratings compared to how much competition there is and lack of advertising. Think how much That 70's Show, That 80's Show, and especially the average Malcolm in the Middle. Explain to me how the $#&^#&$ King of the Hill gets repeats every single day, and Family Guy is superior and cannot even stay on the air. How much does King of the Hill cost, is that it?
