Family Guy changes timeslot again, probably just for tonight

In the continuing saga of timeslot changes for FG, it appears that FOX will show FG tonight at 8:30PM (Eastern Time) instead of 8:00PM, which is probably still its regular slot.

i hear next week it will be tuesday at 2AM

And don't forget that starting in January it will broadcast completely within an interdimentional vortex where 8PM, 8:30PM, 7PM, and 5AM all exist as one time aptly named Qwagnomer-o'clock.

Judging from A) What it follows DIRECTLY (emphasis on directly (did I mention the directness)), ie Lord of the Rings special featuring a teaser clip (so close to the directness between the end of the special and the start of Family Guy); and B) Starting off with the beginning of the episode; C) Not having a commercial after the opening song, I'd say Fox figured out how much their messing up and is now busy making up.

FOX is doing to time slot shuffle. A new Tick airs Wed 8th at 9:30 after Bernie Mac (thier hottest new show) hoping to draw an audience the next night for Thursdays new ep. I guess they are hoping to draw a better lead-in for FG.

Unfortunately, it's gonna get killed by the Charlie Brown Christmas Special (with a brand new "making of") and Friends.
