Weinstein Episode

I finally saw that episode. It was really good. I can't wait to see it on dvd though.

Thinking about it, I think Weinstein actual aired in Britain Anyway! I seem to remember it. The jewish one right?

In a way, yes...they could have aired it here in the US as well, but they were being chickenshits more than worrying about some regulations. Advertising controls TV here, and that means they don't want to risk offending anyone who in turn might launch protests or boycotts of advertisers' products.

you said it the way I wanted to but I didn't want to take a chance and offend anyone LOL!!! Britian has got more balls when it comes to airing shows Canada too come to think of it . In Canada they aired the Osbournes Uncensored (Britian did as well) We are too thin skined here and the problem is if one person makes a sign and protests the networks cave in instantly. Anyone remember the crap with Married W/ Children years ago or Beavis & Butthead not bieng able to say "Fire"

I remember the Beavis and Butt-head incident. Didn't some sort of lawsuit happen because some kid imitated the show and ended up burning himself? Jesus!

Actually, if it aired in Britain, wouldn't it have been edited for content anyway? Every Family Guy episode is over there it seems.

i don't think it did air over here. the back of the DVD case states "including one never before seen episode 'When You Wish Upon A Weinstein' that was considered 'too offensive' for television audiences!"
