As for "why only in Europe", one reason might be that the North American version would almost certainly be called "Merry Freakin' Christmas". (As for why "Merry Freakin' Christmas" isn't on amazon.com yet, I don't know, although a number of the "The Simpsons" one-disc DVDs were released in Europe before the USA for some strange reason.)
