Seth MacFarlane & The Pitts

I saw Seth MacFarlane's name on the end credits of The Pitts tonight, he was a producer on it, maybe he has some input on the show, who knows. That show is just bizarre and strangely funny because it's so bizarre, and not just because Dylan "Happiness" Baker is the dad on it, it is literally like a way OTT surreal live action Simpsons, and some quick fact-finding shows that a couple of Simpsons writers created it...ha!

I still don't know what to think of the Pitts. The premiere was really good and today's was, but last week's was a real dud. I don't figure it's the kind of show that will be on for long anyway, but I'll keep on watching and see how it goes.

We all know from Futurama that even if they have Simpsons blood in a show, it still isn't safe.

Very interesting to see that Seth was a part of it though....could you imagine a joint animation venture between Simpsons and Family Guy writers? Though I guess it could fall apart if they each change their formula to make it happen. But if they pulled it off...wow.

The Pitts is cancelled (reports USA Today). So I guess that's one less job for ol' Seth eh?
