In one of the dream sequences in "The King Is Dead" Peter is talking to Edgar Brofman Jr. (Chairman of Universal Pictures & Seagrams) if you notice he is wearing a Star of David which is generally only worn by Jewish people, My question here isn't Peter, Lois and the kids Catholic?? If you refer back to the episode "Brian in Love" when Peter is in the book store he says "Uh we're catholic" and even in the New Year's Eve episode Peter makes reference to Christmas.

Is it just me or is the writers of Family Guy having continuity problems that they can't decide if the Griffin's are Catholic or Jewish.

The Bronfman's, however, are Jewish. Maybe Peter was making an effort to relate. Maybe it was a slight dig on the amount of Jews in Hollywood.
