Yes, after the episode comes back from Korea animated, there's a rewrite/retake opportunity..and it's always a good time to throw in something more topical. I was worried that the Ashlee Simpson gag in the college episode I directed would be dated by the time it aired...but luckily that girl keeps making an ass of herself. :)

Haha, I can think of a lot of funny "Bush" jokes that don't involve George in any way, but that's for a whole other newsgroup :)

The joke that referenced GWB's "hasty response" to Hurricane Katrina was definitely one of the funniest GWB jokes I've seen in Family Guy.

The one where they had a gung-ho Bush raring to go fight in Vietnam, only to be told it's 1981, was funny. Last night's joke was not.
