Weinstein now ACTUALLY on Kazaa

Just do a search for weinstein. I put it in my shared folder. Thanks to panicDCC1 from whom I got it on IRC.

I finally got it all myself and am leaving my PC online all day for others to download. I will continue to share it as well via KaZaA. I only have 128 upstream, but have also limited my sharing to three simultaneous uploads.

Searching simply for "weinstein" should work. Good luck hitting the right Supernode. I can't find the user I got the file from already, and I just downloaded it. Maybe he stopped sharing. Anyway, he was sharing it as an extensionless file...I renamed it on my system to:

FG2ACX05-When You Wish Upon a Weinstein.mpg

Holy shit! I actually see you on KaZaA. However, there is a red X through your file, indicating that you are somehow firewalled and unable to let others download it. I hope others will be able to get to my file...

Please turn off the option that hides files you can't download because they are firewalled; I need to know if I am too well-firewalled. If you have that filter on, and it's on by default iirc, you won't be able to see me at all if I am too well firewalled. If you turn it off, you'll be able to see me, but my entry will have an X through its icon -- assuming you hit the same node that I'm using.

Also, let me know if you can see me and everything is fine. I'm new to KaZaA and want to make sure I am configured correctly to allow sharing. I've been sharing the 238MB Weinstein episode for 20 min. or so, and no one has tried downloading it from me yet.

fwiw, my cable modem is connecting with an IP address of 68.115.xxx.xxx and am in Madison, Wis. Maybe you are not near enough to the KaZaA Supernode that I'm using. Or, maybe I am too well-firewalled...

Just right after I posted this, someone started downloading a file from me on KaZaA. Not the Weinstein episode, but one of a few MP3s I am sharing as well. So, that answers the question of whether I am too well-firewalled! woo hoo! So folks, I'm out there and am accessible. Good luck hitting the right node...
