Hey there,
there is someone in the group who works on Family Guy, right? How exactly do I get into the "businness" (Apart from sleeping with the management [I already tried, that, and it turned out that it wasn't the management after all, it was just some homeless guy]). I'd like to learn generally about cutting and editing, and not only cartoons.

I'm really not sure how you get into editing...I'd imagine you'd edit your own student film or a few of your own video projects...get it seen, and go from there. It's a pretty competitive field filled w/ talented people (yes, editing is an artform in its own)...I'd guess you'd have to start as an apprentace or an assistant editor.
