Surely the first US DVD will be the same as the Europe one?

As in, all the first season over two discs, and no extras except the menus and pretty lousy subtitles.

If it isn't, we (the European market) is being screwed! And that's NEVER happened before!

I'm not sure if there is a law requiring a French audio track, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was.

That would probably be it. Studios like WB and FOX tend to use French tracks than Spanish on their DVDs. Find it odd since there should be enough room for a Spanish track if they even bothered to put them on too, but since they also want to sell their DVDs in Canada too (also part of the Region One disignation) they'd had to conform to their lamey laws over the use of French language subs/dubs in this case.
