Is it me or Family Guy's later seasons not good?

The older ones were better or am I just getting tired of this cartoon series? :(

FG is getting long in the tooth. The earlier seasons were so much better.

Here is the problem: When Seth was a nobidy, he had to actually work at it. Now with an overinflated ego and more money than anyone could ever need, he just regurgitates old jokes (like the Renee Zellwger joke...it wasn't funny the first time). There days, FG stopped being about a clueless dad, a rational mom, a wisecracking dog and an evil baby. It's the Brian and Stewie show in which Lois is now irrelevant, the kids are barely seen and we have to endure Seth singing yet another song, usually promoting some liberal agenda (not that I care, I'm in the middle). Yes, we all know Seth can sing, who cares anymore. Lots of us can sing and play the piano. Now we see Peter every now and then (when the show used to be about him), Stewie is a homosexual gimp who is no longer evil, Brian is a liberal douche as an outlet for Seth's views and songs, and some of the funniest characters are long gone.

And the Cleavand show is nothing more than a favour to Mike Henry who took a clever character and turned him into a pussifed doormat.

No...before FG gets good again, something bad has to happen to Seth to make him humble again...like cancer, or a real near death experience (missing the 9-11 plane obviously didn't amount to much). Too much ego can ruin a show, as we have seen time and time again. And I promise this, I will never watch another Seth MacFarlane comedy show. GAWD that was awful. It was nothing more than Seth flexing his ego, which is a shame, because in the beginning, FG was funny. (Listen to the S1 commentary on dvd sometime. Even then the ego was brewing. I guess he took getting canceled personally, like he was supposed to be untouchable)

What I found really pathetic was the end to It's a Trap. Unless one watches Robot Chicken, the whole banter about Seth Green (another real life douche bag) would make little sense to the average viewer.

I read someplace he has yet another show on the horizon. One has to wonder how much longer Fox will put up with his crap.

And Bob's Burgers? It's just awful. God, Bob and the Devil on adult swim is better, and that isn't saying much.

Back when FG was an enjoyable comedy show that actually made me laugh, I was able to look past the things I didn't care for because the good outweighed the bad, but that's no longer possible. It's just hateful now.

I'm going to guess that was the episode where Peter is owned by the bull (and Meg goes to jail and comes back a hard case). Yeah, some of those jokes crossed the line. Usually I can groan and smile and some of the tastless humour, but some of those moments were flinch moments. And that was the edited for Fox version. The ones they show on Adult Swim aren;t edited for pre 10 pm audiences.

I Don't Really like the earlier episode maybe from season 5 or 6 on I Love them. The Older ones are somewhat funny but i love the new ones
