It's funny to see the distinct dichotomy between Chris-lovers & Chris-haters around here. As a result, I've decided to pose to easy questions to gauge his support:
1.)Do you like or dislike Chris?
2.)What's your favorite episode focused around Chris?
For me:
1.)I dislike him. In fact, he's my least favorite character.
2.)"And The Weiner Is" where Peter could save it as well as the great line of Brian's and Lois's few good ones.

"To Live And Die In Dixie" was a great (dare I say emotionally satisfying?) Chris-centered episode (there were too few, IMO). The romantic story was cleverly (and sweetly) done, and his obliviousness to the elderly man's advances is hilarious.
"The Son Also Draws" also springs to mind, but at its core it's really a Peter-acting-like-an-ass episode, so that doesn't count.

See, I wasn't overjoyed with "The Son Also Draws". Well, the Fonz confessing to having 3 cases of VD (Herpes twice...and the clap. Ehhhh!") & the gloriously satirical "The More You Know" ending (whatever happened to those smarmy NBC promos?) made it decent.

I never understood that... How can you get Herpes twice? *Unless he got it in his mouth, and groin.* It never goes away, so technically, you could only get it once.... the gift that keeps on giving... painful sores on your groin for the rest of your life?! ew

Actually , you CAN get herpes more than once. There are 2 strains of the virus. Simplex 1 and 2. 1 is the common cole-sore and you can get that hundreds of times in a lifetime. Simplex2 is the genital condition and as far as I am aware, it can be treated and cured.

What is Herpes?

Not really, you can't. You can have numerous outbreaks, but you really still always have it. It has been estimated that 50 to 80 percent of all U.S. adults are infected. Some have never had symptoms, so they probably don't know it.
Same thing applies here, except that the infection rate is about 20% of the population over 12 years old. Some demographics have higher rates, such as women vs. men, blacks vs. other groups, etc.

The one other good thing about "The Son Also Draws"? It preceeds the episode "Brian: Portrait Of A Dog". I think by now regular readers of my incoherent babbling in ATFG know why "B:POAD" is damn significant to me!
