I have to agree...in fact last night's episode with the Rolling stones was a perfect example of what's gone wrong with the Simpsons; they try to cover up the weak writing and lacklustre jokes by cramming in as many "special guest stars" as they can. I mean Mick and Keith were ok, but the other musicians were just useless filler, they had what, two lines each and none of it was particularly funny. It's just become ABOUT the guest stars rather than The Simpsons themselves, and sadly it's now officially too late for the Simpsons to quit while they're ahead...
