It was great to see Family Guy back on the air after almost a year of suffering through the likes of "Normal Ohio", etc.
The show did seem a bit toned down though. This may be due to the fact that it's the first show of the "summer season" and the were probably a lot of first time viewers.
As for the opening music controversy; this time I distinctly heard "laugh and dry", almost as if they over-enunciated it. So I believe the music audio was re-dubbed to eliminate any hint of "effin cry".

"I don't see why we can't go on vacation just because the dog's a coke head." "Wow, no wonder people do drugs!" "18 yet? ; No." The STD clown. "Trade ya' this for your cupcake." The whole scene with the coke whore and Stewie's line about the snake bite. Brian coming home after work rambling about where the line is. etc.
I have to agree w/ phillip here, I thought this episode was straight in your face. Phillip where did you find all these quotes or did you transcribe them?

Some people quoted scenes on assorted message boards, others I managed to jot down since I taped the episode. (the coke ho scene) Sadly I taped Act I in EP, and not SP until Act II. =(

I thought that was utterly classic! I've seen stuff on forums pop up on other TV shows as well, including some stuff in the Simpsons that looked like references to things brought up several times on the newsgroups. I swear the forums get read. There was a bunch of stuff being talked about on the South Park board about the characters never being animated sideways, most of all Chef, and then a recent episode showed him sideways. I find it rather amusing.

Toned down? A storyline about a coke addict...an oral sex joke...Stewie getting the F-word bleeped. Now if that's toned down, I can't wait for the 'regular' episodes!
