In the ep where Peter declares Petoria, there are a lot of digs. Lois says she's like Hilary Clinton without a penis. Clinton is sitting naked, crossing and uncrossing his legs like Sharon Stone.
And the allies of Petoria read like Bush's axis of evil.
I'm sure the cultural conservatives wouldn't approve of FG. But this ep. sounded like something out of the GOP platform.

The original air date for the episode was July 12, 2000 when Bill Clinton was still president. Picking on the current president is pretty standard for shows like Family Guy.
Alsp, because of the air date, it could not be a reference to the Axis of Evil remark.
Possibly censored in the US (but displayed in Canada), Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows shows a tarot card display showing several doomsday possibilities, one of them being GWBush holding a beer bong.
