what codec are you using. I have tried 3.1 and 4 of divx. Is there another I have to download?

I'm using divx 4.12, have used 4.11. I use global divx player for the avi files, and have used the playa just fine, as well as WMP.

As for the VCD-ready MPGs, anything released since Windows 95 should be able to handle it without any additional codecs.

                9. sort through the tons of email I recieve a day
                 10. reply to reply if nessecary

Newsgroup: 1. click reply to thread
                    2. type message
                     3. Post
                     4. wait for reply

usually replies come quicker by NG than email for me, I check the NG more than looking in my inbox for replies

Knowing that Craigs email is yahoo I guess he checks it evry so often, unless he has POP access to it(you CAN do that ya know, or maybe he has Yahoo Messenger going and can see the messages coming in in real time

What's all this about not being able to send email unless you're using Agent? I use Outlook Express 6, and can reply to the group (news) or reply (email). Two buttons, side by side. So what's the problem??

Dude, Just wanted to take a moment to thank you - YOU ROCK! If I wasn't straight, I'd children your bear (or was that bear your children? Eh, same thing, doesn't matter...) Your server practically saved my life -- I thought I was gonna have to go through life without Family Guy & I wanted to cry! Now I've got every (but the last -- and that's d/l'ing now...) on VCD!! Just one question -- I almost crapped myself last night when at the start of "Brian in Love" there was this whole Stewie-dreaming-Mr. Rogers bit. I'd never seen that before & thought FOX had surprised us with "Wish Upon a Wienstein". Then it cut to that "Jetsons" gag that we all know & love. The Ep on your server doesn't have that part - are you going to put up a new version? I taped the Ep, so if you need it, just respond here & I'll email you about sending you the tape. I'm nuerotic & won't rest until I have all of the COMPLETE episodes on VCD. That reminds me -- "...Family Guy Xmas" -- there was a bit at the end where they wish a merry X-mas that isn't in your file - I have that on tape as well... Too bad I don't have the ability to transfer from VCR to computer (knew I shoulda spent the extra $ when I bought my vid-card, grrrr). Anyway, thanks for the awesome job -- you made my year. Kheldar

Glad you appreciate the server. I don't have the means to get it from VHS to PC either, so don't bother. I coulda sworn I had the Jetsons thing, I remember watching it on my PC... Maybe that was when I just had AVI files. If anyone has it, let me know, I know that a few of my episodes are missing little bits.

It also takes up 50% more space, which I can't afford. If I had a modem I wouldn't even bother; try Morpheus or Direct Connect.
