Keanue Reeves and the woodpecker

In last nights episode there was a scene with Brian talking with Keanue Reeves and suddenly a woodpecker lands on Keanues head and begins pecking at it (Hilarious). I know Keanue Reeves has been labeled as the hollywood dunce but I do not know why? Is it because he played the dumb surfer "Ted" in Bill and Teds adventure (Other actors have played idiots like: Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber). Is it b/c he dropped out of High School (well Sean Connery dropped out of school at 13 and he is well revered). Just wondering... By the way last nights epi was great like always of course :)

or it just may have something to do w/ how slow he talks and how bad of an actor he is?

Ever seen Private Idaho? Oh man he sounds like they pulled him off the street to do that movie. To answer the original post the other guy made a bit more -

Keanu Reaves does mostly suck...but check out Sam Raimi's "The Gift" ....Ol' Woodpecker Head really amazed me w/ his portrayal of a violent redneck husband! Very good stuff...

I thought the Keanu Reeves joke was very effective (I can't believe my sis used to have a crush on him before she found out what a fag he is).

Another moment I enjoyed from this episode is Brian recieve the "Woody Award." Did they really animated that, then mosaic it later? Must've been a laugh for the guys in post-produciton to see that. Only a shame I won't get to see the real thing (I bet it's anatomically correct).

Just a guess... I think it's because his performances are considered "wooden". Therefore he is wood.
