It might, if that were the truth. The Romans killed Jesus. He was crucified by Romans. Crucifixion was practiced on political prisoners. The Romans obviously took offence at the claim (whether by Jesus, or by his followers) that he was the King Of The Jews. The idea that this was at the behest of the Jewish council is hogwash. The bible claims that they had the Romans crucify him because they had no law to put a man to death. Bullshit, they had people stoned to death all the time.

Also, any Christian who preaches hate against the Jews should remember that Jesus, all the apostles, Paul, and even Mary, Jesus' mother were all practicing Jews. Not a single one of them renounced the Jewish religion.

And, by the way, the story of Noah's flood existed long before the supposed Noah did. The Epic of Gilgamesh was told perhaps more than 3000 years before the Hebrews got ahold of the story, and in the times of ancient Sumer and Babylon, it was Utnapishtim's flood, not Noah's.
