Does anyone know why this was "banned" by fox?

and not just because they're idiots.

Jewish humor deemed too edgy to risk airing, in FOX's opinion.

If it was done wrong, I agree, it should not've been showed on tv. However, I trust Seth MacFarlane is not like that, but I guess Fox decided not to risk it. Hopefully on a DVD someday, it's surely very funny.

For example, South Park to me is very anti-semitic, and I think it should be banned.

No, of course not. I was just pointing out this aspect. The show also is terrible to Ethopians, debasing to all religions, makes blatant statements that no decent person would say, and in fact is just plain disgusting (see Kenny in woman episode).

I'm very sorry I saw some episodes of SP.

Family Guy, however, really is not like that. It's not sick save for a few scenes; ys, I agree, a few jokes I agree are tasteless, but none are close to SP's savagery.

I am Jewish and I think South Park (at times) and Family Guy are very funny with the Jewish jokes. Mainly because they rip on EVERYONE!! You have to laugh at yourself if you will laugh at others.
