Fox's Family guy website http://www.fox.com/familyguy/newhome.html claims that "The Family Guy is on vacation. And by "vacation," we mean it was yanked from the schedule and won't be back until midseason."
Is this website old (which is unlike a major corporation to not update it's site), or is Family Guy actually returning this year or next?

The only two shows that are listed as not returning for 2000-2001 are "The Street" and "Normal, Ohio." This doesn't answer the question about the how current the news is, but it is more information pointing in the right direction.
