AHHAAHHAHAHAHAHA Nov. 13, 2005 episode.... Stewie mentions about the novel Brian is working on again.... man that's hilarious. One of the funniest bits when it first was done earlier in the season, and am glad it was brought back up and made fun. heh.

I think they both worked this time around because they were abbreviated. Peter only got one "Ahhhhhh..." out, and Stewie got knocked out before he could get much past "that novel" -- just brief enough to get a good laugh without any really loud whining.

Yes, exactly! Both would have been crap if they'd been extended in any way. Short, punchy stuff. This episode I felt was more carefully put together than some of the other recent ones. Its a good thing.

I think it's a sort of self-criticism - which again - made itself into a great joke!
