Family Guy Being Sold To UPN??

Family Guy Online (http://www.familyguyonline.com) is reporting today that 20th Century Fox and the United Paramount Network are in early negotiations for UPN to pick-up Family Guy next season, The major problem that I see with this is that UPN covers less then 40 percent of the U.S. television market which means that a good portion of the viewers and fans won't be able to see the show, Another problem is that UPN's parent company Viacom is acquiring CBS Corporation which means that Paramount Stations which is a subsidiary of Viacom and which owns the majority of UPN stations will probably have to sell some of their stations to satisfy the F.C.C.'s regulation which prohibits broadcasters from owning more than one television station in the same market, this of course will knock down UPN's market share to nil.

In my humble opinion what 20th Century Fox should do is move the show over to one of it's cable stations such as FX which has a LARGE coverage on local cable and satellite systems, By doing this they not only retain their viewers by also ownership of the show.
